Activities in the 6th Primary School of Egaleo
During the first year of HESTIA (2017-2018), the coordinating school implemented the project activities from themes 1A: Human Rights and 1B: Defining Migration; during the second year (2018-2019), the themes 2A: Migration Stories and 2B: Inclusive Exchanges in Culture & Sports, followed.
Artistic creations and various diffusion products from the activities were presented on the school corridors for all parents and visitors to see.
In June 2018 we organised an event in school, including a theatrical play about acceptance from the 2nd grade pupils, a presentation to parents and local educational authorities about the project progress, together with the delivery of the project manifest to the Educational Director of our area.
A large diffusion event took place towards the project's end, in June 2019, with the participation of the whole school; a celebration of the work carried out during the two project years.
Publicity of the project included press releases at the local newspaper and verious educational sites.
