1st PROJECT MEETING
EGALEO, GREECE
21-25 OCTOBER 2017
The 1st transnational project meeting for the HESTIA project took place in Egaleo, a suburb of Athens, from the 21st to the 25th of October 2017. 11 representatives from the partner organisations travelled to Athens to participate in the kickoff meeting. The coordinating partner, the 6th Primary School of Egaleo, was the meeting host.
The program included, apart from the working sessions, a tour and presentations in the school, an official dinner with the presence of the Mayor of Egaleo, a workshop on educational drama, a meeting with the UN Communication Officer for Greece and also with a primary school headmister that worked with refugee pupils last year. The cultural program included a tour in Vouliagmeni Lake, in cape Sounio and Poseidon Temple, and also a tour in the Acropolis of Athens.
