Activities in Jardim Escola João de Deus
It was a great success that one of the Portuguese pupils drawings for the project logo was most voted by all countries, resulting in the HESTIA official logo!
During the first project year (2017-2018), Jardim Escola João de Deus in Leiria implemented the HESTIA activities from theme 1A: Human Rights and 1B: Defining Migration, according to the project plan. The activities were adjusted in order to be more suitable for the kindergarten classes and the 1st cycle.
During the second project year (2018-2019), the activities of the other themes followed, 2A: Migration Stories and 2B: Inclusive Exchanges in Culture & Sports.
News about the project were posted in all editions of the school newspaper.
Among the school events that took place, the pupils celebrated the National Pyjama Day!
